RUPEE GAINS 10
PAISE AGAINST US DOLLAR TO 55.30

Indian rupee gained against the greenback in morning trade on Thursday. Rupee was up by 10 paise or 0.18% against
USD to Rs 55.30 .
At 09.24 a.m., the Sensex was trading up 106.44
points or 0.62% at 17,291.45 with 27 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty
was trading higher by 31.75 points or 0.61% at 5,248.05 with 47 components
gaining.
In the spot market, the Dollar
Index decreased 0.21% to 82.89 (23:42 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.22 up 0.04% while USD - Japanese Yen was
trading at 78.59 down 0.27% (23:53 ET).
