HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks rose 0.22 per cent in the morning session on Friday following another positive lead from Wall Street, but gains were capped by profit-taking after the previous day's strong rally.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index gained 43.16 points to 19,602.21 on turnover of HK$20.27 billion ($2.62 billion).
