POTATO ARRIVALS INCREASE IN AZADPUR MANDI

  16th March – 2012




Potato arrivals in the Azadpur mandi in the state of Delhi stood at 130 trucks (125 trucks as on 15th March 2012). Among the varieties, fresh crop from the state of Punjab quoted steady in the range of R 500-600, while new crop from UP quoted steady in the range of R 700-800 per quintal.
The NCDEX March Potato contract moved in the range of R 896.20-914 and is currently trading at R 901.20, down by R 9.80 or 1.08% over the last close.
