NCDEX CHANA TIPS


CHANA SPURTS MORE THAN RS 20 PER QUINTAL ON STRONG GAINS IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET

Chana futures spurted by more than Rs 20 per quintal today due to strong gains in physical mandies along with steady trend in imported pulses.
Traders mentioned that the spot prices of chana have been increased by almost Rs 50 per quintal today to trade in the range of Rs 3500-3700 per quintal at major mandies with the total arrivals of 2-2.20 lakh bags. Traders suggested that the total arrivals of all the major mandies were still reported at lower side due to poor supplies in Maharashtra and Rajasthan in the current year.
Moreover , bullish trend in international market also added some gains in domestic market . The spot prices of imported pulses surged by more than Rs 150 per quintal today. The spot prices of imported Australian chana were trading at Rs 3650 per quintal, up Rs 200 per quintal from the last day.
Consequently, the future prices of Chana NCDEX April Benchmark contract added Rs 23 per quintal to trade at Rs 3855 per quintal today.
