SENSEX SLIPS 0.4 PCT IN EARLY TRADE; RIL, ITC, HDFC BANK DOWN

The BSE Sensex slipped as much as 0.4 per cent early on Monday with RIL, ITC and HDFC Bank leading the losses. The broader 50-share NSE index was down 0.2 per cent to 5,195.20.

He further added, the short term trend for the Nifty is negative and the index is expected to move lower till 5125 while the reversal of the trend is pegged at 5400 levels.
At 9:20 a.m., the 30-share BSE index was trading 0.2% lower at 17,051.16 points led by losses in ITC (down 0.3%), RIL (down 0.8%) and HDFC Bank (down 0.3%).
Top Sensex gainers include SBI, which was trading 1.1% higher and DLF Ltd was trading at Rs 199.55, up 0.7%. POWERED BY: THE ECONOMIC NEWS
