The market may open higher on firm Asian stocks. Trading of S&P CNX Nifty futures on the Singapore stock exchange indicates a gain of 19 points at the opening bell. Asian stocks rose for a second day today, 10 January 2012 as increases in Australian building permits and U.S. consumer credit added to signs the global economy is weathering Europe's debt crisis.
