TURMERIC ARRIVALS STOOD AT 3,000 BAGS IN NIZAMABAD MANDI

                    According to market sources, turmeric price in the Nizamabad mandi stood at R 3,800 per quintal. The arrivals in the Nizamabad mandi stood at 3,000 bags.

Turmeric price quoted in the Erode mandi stood at R 3,500-3,900 per quintal. The arrivals in the Erode mandi stood at 5,000 bags. The Salem variety was trading at R 4,000-4,500 per quintal.

In the Nanded mandi of Maharashtra, select quality quoted at R 3,800 per quintal. The Powder quality traded at R 3,500 per quintal. In the Sangli mandi, Rajapuri variety quoted at R 4,000 per quintal and Desi Kadappa was quoting at R 3,800 per quintal.

The NCDEX Turmeric June contract moved in the range of R 3,670-3,736 and is currently trading lower at R 3,690 per quintal, down by R 42 or 1.13% per quintal.
