PEPPER PRICES SUFFER PROFIT BOOKING

Pepper prices have suffered some
profit booking and were being offered lower by Rs 200 a quintal on dull buying
activities on Wednesday. Black pepper un-garbled offered at Rs 38,300 per
quintal and MG-1 at Rs 39,300 a quintal in spot market. Weather
Department has stated that monsoon will be delayed by 3-4 days. In
the international market, Indian black pepper MG -1 quoted at $7,600 per tonne
Europe and $7,900 per tonne C&F US.
