Turmeric Arrivals Steady In Major Mandis

According to market sources, turmeric price in the Nizamabad mandi quoted steady at Rs 3,600 per quintal. The arrivals in the Nizamabad mandi stood steady at 8,000 bags.
Turmeric price quoted steady in the Erode mandi at Rs 3,000 per quintal. The arrivals in the Erode mandi stood steady at 18,000 bags. The Salem variety was trading steady at Rs 4,000 per quintal.
In the Nanded mandi of Maharashtra, select quality quoted steady at Rs 4,000 per quintal. The Powder quality traded steady at Rs 3,500 per quintal.
In the Sangli mandi, Rajapuri variety quoted at Rs 4,500 per quintal and Desi Kadappa was quoting at Rs 3,250 per quintal.
The NCDEX Turmeric May contract moved in the range of Rs 3,650-3,746 and is currently trading lower at Rs 3,662 per quintal, down by Rs 24 or 0.71% per quintal.
