JEERA ARRIVALS UP IN UNJHA MANDI

The spot jeera price were trading in the range of R 10,500-11,500 per quintal (R 10,500-11,500 per quintal as on 21st April 2012) at Unjha Mandi. Best quality was trading in the range of R 12,000-15,500 per quintal (R 12,000-15,750 per quintal as on 21st April 2012. The total arrivals increased to 35,000 bags from 30,000 bags, while demand was seen for around 28,000 bags.
The NCDEX Jeera May contract moved in the range of R 12,255-12,460 and is currently trading lower at R 12,305 per quintal, down by R 62.50 or 0.51% per quintal.
