COTTON TRADES WEAK IN THE SPOT MARKETS

Cotton traded weak in North India Monday despite lower arrivals. Arrivals reported lower in North region as farmers were busy in wheat harvesting, arrival may regain momentum after first week of May. Arrivals stood at 10,000 bales in the region. J-34 RG quoted in range of Rs 3,560-3,615 per maund in Punjab, Rs 3,490-3,500 per maund in Haryana and Rs 3,490-3,500 per maund in Rajasthan.
