SENSEX RISES IN EARLY TRADE

Indian equities bounced back in early trade on Friday snapping earlier losses. The 30-share benchmark index, BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 61.25 points or 0.36% at 17,257.72, while the broad based NSE Nifty started with a rise of 27.20 points or 0.52%, at 5,255.65. www.goldennifty.com
The Sensex was trading up 75.23 points or 0.44% at 17,271.70 with 20 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 27.20 points or 0.52% at 5,255.65 with 35 components gaining. www.goldennifty.com
Sensex Movers
I C I C I Bank contributed rise of 17.4 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Reliance Industries (15.02 points), State Bank Of India (9.95 points), Infosys (7.53 points) and Tata Motors (5.81 points). www.goldennifty.com
However, Housing Development Finance Corporation contributed fall of 4.73 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Mahindra & Mahindra (4.09 points), Maruti Suzuki India (3.7 points), Bharti Airtel (2.77 points) and Grasim Industries (1.72 points).
Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were I C I C I Bank (1.40%), State Bank Of India (1.32%), Tata Motors (0.98%), Reliance Industries (0.92%), Bharat Heavy Electricals (0.90%), and Sterlite Industries (India) (0.70%). www.goldennifty.com
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki India (1.57%), Mahindra & Mahindra (1.11%), Bajaj Auto (1.10%), Bharti Airtel (0.54%), Housing Development Finance Corporation (0.41%), and Cipla (0.32%) were the major losers in the Sensex.
