At the close, BSE Sensex ended flat with a rise of 12.72 points or 0.08% at 16,751.73, 18 components posting rise. while the broad based NSE Nifty closed flat with a decline of 2.35 points or 0.05%, at 5,046.25.24 components registering drop.

I C I C I Bank contributed rise of 21.11 points in the Sensex. It was followed by I T C (19.13 points), Bharti Airtel (16.63 points), Maruti Suzuki India (11.12 points) and Infosys (9.68 points).
However, Reliance Industries contributed fall of 48.66 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Sterlite Industries (India) (11.12 points), H D F C Bank (10.86 points), Hindalco Industries (9.98 points) and Hero Motocorp (9.72 points).
e 30-share index were Maruti Suzuki (Q,N,C,F)* India (5.77%), Bharti Airtel (3.03%), Bharat Heavy Electricals (2.69%), D L F (2.50%), I C I C I Bank (1.80%),
On the other hand, Sterlite Industries (India) (5.36%), Hindalco Industries (4.29%), Hero Honda Motors (4.11%), Reliance Industries (2.82%), Coal India (2.73%), and Tata Steel (2.27%) were the biggest losers in the Sensex.
