MCX Nickel surged by 2.14% or 22.4 at Rs 1066.9 per kg on Monday 30th January, with its intraday Trading tips high at Rs 1071.4 per kg and low at Rs 1050 per kg.

Huge short covering was seen in MCX Nickel with 8.3% dip in its open interest to 9774 lots and volume traded stood at 59,654 lots compared to 63,006 lots traded last day.

Appreciation in rupee curbed huge gains in the metal. At LME, MCX Lead ended higher by 1.3% to $21,730 per tonne amidst the weedy dollar.
