JEERA ARRIVALS INCREASE IN UNJHA MANDI

The spot jeera prices were trading in the range of R 12,000-12,750 per quintal (R 12,000-13,000 per quintal as on 9th June 2012) at Unjha Mandi. Best quality was trading in the range of R 14,500-15,250 per quintal (R 14,500-15,500 per quintal as on 9th June 2012). The total arrivals increased to 12,000 bags from 10,000 bags, while demand was seen for around 10,000 bags against 9,000 bags on Saturday.
The NCDEX Jeera June contract moved in the range of R 12,610-12,917.50 and is currently trading higher at R 12,775 per quintal, up by R 187.50 or 1.49% per quintal.
