RUPEE FALLS 13 PAISE AGAINST US DOLLAR TO 55.15

Indian rupee declined
against the greenback in morning trade on Friday. Rupee
was down by 13 paise or 0.24% against USD to Rs 55.15.
Sensex was trading down 78.06 points or 0.47% at 16,570.99 with 25
components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty
was trading lower by 24.20 points or 0.48% at 5,025.45 with 44 components falling.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index increased
0.47% to 82.43 (23:55 ET).
Euro - USD was trading
at 1.25 down 0.27% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 79.44 down 0.24%
(23:54 ET).
