DATE: 15/06/2012
Copper prices moved
higher in a hushed dealing on Thursday as most investors remained in a bit of a
pause ahead of the Greece election and potential policy measures that could be
taken by the Fed or by others central bankers.
Copper futures for July delivery settled up by 1.50 cents at $3.3545 per lb, after dealing between $3.3185 and $3.3595 on the Comex metals division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper for three-month delivery on the London Metal Exchange raised $30 to end at $7,420 a tonne.
