JEERA ARRIVALS SLIDE IN UNJHA MAND

The spot jeera price were trading steady in the range of Rs 10,500-11,500 per quintal (Rs 10,000-11,500 per quintal as on 18th April 2012) at Unjha Mandi. Best quality was trading in the range of Rs 12,000-15,500 per quintal (Rs 11,500-15,000 per quintal as on 18th April 2012). The total arrivals decreased to 35,000 bags from 40,000 bags, while demand was seen for around 35,000 bags.
The NCDEX Jeera April contract moved in the range of Rs 11,790-11,960 and is currently trading higher at Rs 11,910 per quintal, up by Rs 100 or 0.85% per quintal.
